Quick start

Get live GE data and flip recommendations in RuneLite in about 5 minutes.

Try free first

Use the dashboard and items page with live GE data. No account needed. F2P plugin works without an API key.

Create an account

Sign up with your email. No credit card needed. Free: full website + F2P plugin. Premium ($6/mo): API key, dumps, trade log sync.

Get your API key

Open your dashboard after logging in. Click “Create API Key”, copy the key (you only see it once), and keep it safe.

Install the plugin

Use the Grand Flip Out plugin with RuneLite (build from source or install via Plugin Hub when available). Enable it in the plugin list.

Configure in RuneLite

Configuration → Grand Flip Out API: set Server URL to https://grandflipout.com and paste your API key. Enable market polling and trade tracking in the main plugin config.

Start flipping

Open the Grand Flip Out panel in the sidebar. Use Overview for session profit and top item, Live Market for live prices and market snapshot, and Trade History for your flips and P/L.

Common issues

Plugin doesn't appear in RuneLite

Make sure you installed from the Plugin Hub (Configuration icon → Plugin Hub → search "Grand Flip Out"). If sideloading, enable Developer Mode first. Restart RuneLite after installing.

API error 401 / "Authentication failed"

Your API key may be incorrect or expired. Go to Dashboard, create a new key, and paste the full key (starts with gfo_) into RuneLite: Configuration → Grand Flip Out API → API Key.

Market data not updating / "API: connecting..."

Check your internet connection. Verify grandflipout.com/status is online. If the server shows "degraded", the OSRS Wiki API may be temporarily slow — data will resume automatically.

GE slots not syncing to dashboard

Enable "Sync GE slots to dashboard" in RuneLite: Configuration → Grand Flip Out → Market API. Your API key must be set. Slots sync when you place or update a GE offer.

Tap-to-trade not filling prices

Make sure you're focused on the GE price or quantity input box in-game. Press the configured hotkey (default: check Configuration → Grand Flip Out → Hotkeys). The hotkey only works when a GE slot is open and the text box is focused.
